We’ll Be There: Freedom Trail Lantern Tour (Thursday, October 29)

We’ll be checking out this classic tour with a spooky twist.

As Bostonians, we at SmarterTravel have walked the Freedom Trail hundreds of times and memorized practically every historical factoid there is to know about downtown Boston—or so we thought.

On Thursday, October 29, we’ll be tackling the Freedom Trail once more, but this time…at night (cue the spooky music) with The Freedom Trail Organization’s ghostly new Lantern Tour. And this is no ordinary tour. Instead of revolutionary heroes, we’ll be learning about the pirates, witches, and murderers that once walked Boston’s cobblestone streets.

Join us on Twitter and Periscope Thursday, October 29, at 7:00 p.m. EST as we plunge headlong into Boston’s dark side.

For more information about the Lantern Tour, visit The Freedom Trail Foundation website.
