Larnaca Shopping – Shops, Stores, Best Buys & Inside Tips

Larnaca Shopping

Larnaca sits on the southern coast of the island of Cyprus. The city is extremely old and many think it could be the oldest on the island, believing it be over 6000 years old. Many travelers to the island go through the town at some point because the main airport on the island is based in this city. There is plenty of sightseeing and attractions, but you probably want to know where the best shopping is. Here are some tips.

Designer Label Shopping

The most famous designers in the world sell their clothing in the city of Larnaca. It is the best spot on the island for designer shopping. Some people travel to the city specifically to do this type of shopping because the prices are noticeably lower than what you find them for on the main island. It is acceptable to haggle on these items in Cyprus if you feel that you can get a better price somewhere else.

The Open-Air Market Runs on Sunday

If you find yourself in Larnaca on Sunday, be sure to check out the open-air market. It is filled with quality goods and produce at great prices. There are even clothes, souvenirs, and CDs at the market. It is a great place to just hang out, even if you don’t wish to purchase anything.

Oro Fino

Cyprus is known as a great place to get huge discounts on jewelry and Oro Fino is one of the prime locations for that. They have every kind of jewelry you can think of at a deep discount, including diamond rings. Many of the items can be found for as much as 50% off.
