Genius Pack Review: 30″ Extensive Wheeled Upright Suitcase

This 30″ suitcase is perfect for ski trips, thanks to its large size and cool compression section.

Genius Pack Review

Price and Where to Buy Genius Pack: At the time of writing, the Extensive Wheeled Upright was on sale for $278 on GeniusPack.com.

Pros:

  • Large 30″ depth is great for longer trips, or cold weather vacations (like ski getaways) where you have bulky gear
  • Forgiving soft sides can be stuffed to the brim
  • Features a separate laundry compartment that compresses dirty laundry down to a small size (making room for souvenirs on the way home) and zips straight out so you can easily do laundry when you get back
  • Inside front of suitcase has three separate, labeled zipper compartments (and a printed packing list)
  • Smooth gliding recessed wheels make the bag easy to roll along, no matter how heavy it is
  • Soft neoprene handles are easy to pull
  • Comes with a five year warranty
  • Smooth telescoping handle can be zipped away when not in use

Cons:

  • At 10.8 lbs, this is not a lightweight suitcase

How Genius Pack Rates:

      • Usefulness: 10/10. Some trips, you just can’t get away with going carry-on only. For over-packers and extended vacations, the 30″ Extensive Wheeled Upright will hold everything you need.
      • Value: 8/10. If you grab the suitcase on sale, it’s a good deal for a bag of this size.
      • Portability: 8/10. The smooth gliding wheels and telescoping handle make this bag easy to roll wherever you go.
      • Cool Factor: 10/10. The separate compression laundry section is one of the cooler features we’ve seen in a suitcase. The bag also comes in fun colors, like red and purple.

Final Verdict: Packing a lot? The 30″ Extensive Wheeled Upright can handle it, plus has lots of cool features that make it a standout choice.
